Physical Therapist needed to interact with the Wrap-Around/High Needs Day Program participants on-site and off-site in group and individual settings. Will provide services that restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent dysfunction,and maintain, and promote overall fitness and health. Will also determine participant's ability to be independent and reintegrate into the community or workplace and develop treatment plans describing a treatment strategy, its purpose, and its anticipated outcome. Will treat participants whose ability to function in a work environment has been impaired and evaluate work environments, plan work activities, and access the participant's progress.

Requirements

Must be licensed and currently registered as an Physical Therapist by the New York State Education Department. Specialized training or at least one year of professional experience in treating people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
